The park purchased a train from South Padre Island in 1986. The train was originally owned by Disneyland and was used to transport people from the parking lot to the park. Over the years the train has been lovingly maintained and restored. It can carry 30 passengers and is used for taking visitors and residents to the Recreation Hall, on tours of the park and special rides at Christmas to see the lights. The train participates in the San Benito and Harlingen evening Christmas parades and the park Mardi Gras parade. NO TICKET REQUIRED |
