 The Fun N Sun Mailroom is open at all times. The mailroom is staffed from 9:00am to 5:00pm daily except for Sundays but the counter is closed while mail is being sorted. Each resident of the park, temporary or permanent, is assigned a mailbox and is given a key to open it. The mail is sorted in the morning and a flag by the gate is raised to signal that the mail has been sorted and placed in the boxes. Plastic package cards are placed in the boxes to notify residents that they have a package waiting at the mailroom counter. In-park mail can be sent without a stamp if the sender includes their lot number and the name and lot number of the recipient. Laundry cards are sold in the mailroom as are large bags of ice. Bulletin boards line the walls to notify residents of upcoming events in the park and surrounding community. There is a board to notify residents of people who are in the hospital or who have passed away. Several volunteers maintain a memory book of residents who have passed away
