GENEALOGY CLUB
2011-2012

Meet in Computer Room 5-6

Wednesdays - 12/7 - 3/31  - 10 am - 12 noon - rooms 5/6

Want to learn more about your ancestors, but not sure how to begin?
Come gather with others who have the same interest in tracing their
family history. Join in for the workshops and attend programs that
will help guide you to the resources that will help you in tracing your ancestral roots. As members discuss the methods theyve used
to discover new clues to further their research, your interaction
with these beginning researchers as well as seasoned
genealogists may provide that very clue that will cause a
breakthrough for you in finding that illusive great grandfather or
other ancestor youve been searching for. Investigating genealogy lets
you know where you came from and brings forbears to life.
Documenting your discoveries will enable you to leave a legacy that
generations after you will cherish. Come join us.

Family Tree Maker Workshop

Tuesdays - 1/3 - 3/28 - 10 am - 11:30 am
with George Falk
We will cover all aspects of the use of this software , beginning to advanced. If you have any version of this software on your laptop and have at least started on a Family Tree, feel free to bring it along. We will spend lots of the time looking at any problems you might have entering your data. We will also look at genealogy research in general, and the use of Ancestry.com in particular.
