Fun N Sun
is a dog-friendly environment. A two-mile walkway around the park is
perfect for walks with man�s best friend. There are four enclosed
grassy spaces where pets can be let off their leashes and receptacles
are provided for cleaning up after pets. The two largest of the four
enclosures are perfect for running off some canine energy. Several times
a day you will find a large number of dogs running and playing there
while their owners sit and socialize. In 2010 the newest of the 4
enclosures was built to accomodate small dogs. The highlight of the year for dog owners is the annual dog show held
in the rec hall. Dogs vie for the coveted �best of show� award but
every entrant wins a prize of some kind and goes away with a doggy
goody bag. It�s a good time for pet owners and spectators who learn
something about the dogs and their owners. |
